BBQXL’s spicy lime cordial with grilled sambal chicken skewers

(Per glass)


175 ml Lime cordial
175 ml Soda water
1 tsp Angostura bitters
1 hot pepper pierced once
Salt to rim the glass
Lime to garnish
1 Grilled chicken skewer preferably spiced with sambal, turmeric and desiccated coconut

  • Rim the glass with salt by first dipping it in lime juice to allow the salt to stick.
  • Combine the lime cordial and soda without ice, this drink should not be served cold.
  • Top with the Angostura bitter slowly. The bitters should only colour the top of the drink.
  • Garnish with a hot pepper that has been pierced in one place, a slice of lime and a grilled chicken skewer.

Tip: Vodka or tequila are good for as an alcoholic option to this drink.
